The weather in mid May to early June has been all over the place in New York. Some days were cool and some days were Summer like hot. No rain in these past couples of weeks. Sarah is on her last stretch of her Sophomore year, how exciting!
May 17th was Sarah's 16th birthday, David made sushi and I made our favorite chocolate cake for her. Sarah also celebrated her birthday with a group of friends at The Dolar Shop later that weekend.
We went to "Trust Bae" restaurant that just opened around the corner from our apartment to celebrate Sarah's birthday. There were 16 courses and the food was amazing!!!

It was a very warm Memorial Day Weekend, Benjamin went in the water to cool down. Dawit came with Bella and we all enjoyed the beautiful weather that weekend.
Dawit, Benjamin and I went for a run on the trail for the first time since Winter. It was peaceful and the weather was perfect. We saw a bald eagle bathing in the creek.
I tried some new recipes from 100 Morning Treats by Sarah Kieffer, highly recommended this book!
