My friend, Maew who I've known for 43 years (wow! that felt like I am a very old person) and her sister, Parn came all the way from Bangkok to see the fall foliage in New York. Luckily it was still plenty of color and falling leaves to see in Bloomville. The weather was warm with no rain. David did some grilling and I baked a carrot cake per their request. When we got back to NYC we did some shopping, eating and walking around. It was nice to see Maew and we hope to go to Thailand next summer to celebrate our 30 years anniversary with friends and family in Bangkok.
