Racing in Brooklyn this past Saturday in the hottest day this year. David and Dawit were running in wave 1 that started at 7am and I was in wave 2 started at 7:45. The weather was so hot and humid by the time I got out of Prospect park. The sun was shining so strong on Ocean Drive leading to Coney Island. Stopped at every water stops to cool down but glad to finish even though it was not at desirable time, 2:15. David and Dawit did very well in 1:38. Congratulations to all the runners who ran through the heat wave and finished strong!
