After Thanksgiving, we stayed in the city for a few weekends. The city was so beautiful with fall foliage and filled with holiday spirit of the big Christmas tree at Rockefeller Plaza, holiday window decorations at Bergdoff Goodman and Saks Fifth Avenue, a giant snowflake suspended over Fifth Avenue. Everywhere you look is filled with a cheerful spirit of the holiday season, only in New York City.

We celebrated Jennifer's 50th birthday with Dawit at our new favorite restaurant, Koloman at 16 W 29th st. Excellent food and impeccable service, this was our second time here. The first time was with Grace and Paul for Paul's birthday a month earlier.
Sarah performed a Christmas routine with The Sky Rink All Stars at Riverbank State Park (Denny Farrell Riverbank State Park) rink on the tree lighting ceremony day.
We went to Queens for Sarah's dance video production at the Atrium for PMT Dance. After we dropped Sarah and her friends off at the Atrium, we went for a run to our favorite Thai restaurant in Woodside, Sriprapai that was about 3 miles away to pick up some Thai food. We ended up taking an Uber back because it started to rain and we bought too much food to be able to carry and run with. The building the Atrium studio was in reminded us of how New York lofts used to be in the 80's, raw concrete floor, big columns and old single pane glass windows with the expansive views of New York City. So much light even on a rainy day. We enjoyed our Sunday away from the buzzing overcrowded Manhattan. I could live here in this lovely part of Queens.
